It's the Journey Not the Destination
President Jay Westman remembers growing up building homes, "My dad was a builder before me and I grew up building homes, so I suppose I've really always been a home builder. I think I was on sites as early as six or seven years old helping out."
The company got its start with just one home - it was in Woodbine. There was a lot of sweat equity in that home. At the time, a lot of the homes that were being built were very similar and not of the greatest quality. From the beginning Jayman focused on changing that. That first home in Woodbine stood out and sold quickly because of the extra attention paid to details and custom finishing.
Today, Jayman homes continue to be designed and built along the same philosophy. We call it an obsession with excellence in everything we do and it has guided every step of our journey… a journey now 25 years and with a promising future.
